Amprolium (as hydrochloride) 250 mg
The coccidiostatic activity of amprolium derives from the mimicry of the molecule with the structure of thiamine, this structural analogy is translated in a reduced uptake of thiamine by the coccidia that results in the inhibition of the multiplication of the same.
minimum concentration of amprolium able to reduce the sporulation of the oocysts in the stool of infected subjects.
Treatment of intestinal coccidiosis caused by amprolium sensitive Eimeria SPP, espicailly E.tenella,E.necatrix,E.acervuline,E.maxima and E.brunetti.

- To avoid or delay the onset of resistance, avoid the anti-killing agent is present in water or feed in high concentrations.
